What’s In Your Box: Kassey Voorn

With Kassey Voorn’s latest remix (in conjunction with DJ Thomas Turner) out now on Flow Vinyl, we take a look at his favourite tracks of the moment in the latest edition of What’s In Your Box?

Kassey Voorn

1. Guy J – Nirvana [Bedrock]

One of these parts during the night  when everyone tries to get on the booth and ask what the tune is…

2. Quivver – Time Go By [Bedrock]

No matter the vibe of the track, it is always groovy and amazing with Quivver. Was mind blown the minute I heard this, one of my faves at the moment.

3. Kastis Torrau & Arnas D – Eye (Desaturate ‘Tunnel Vision’ Remix) [Sound Avenue]

A straight groove that keeps growing and growing, great remix with a great flow.

4. Blusoul – Modular Memories [Lost & Found]

The latest addition to Guy J’s “Lost&Found” imprint and it is deep and groovy as usual. One of Blusoul’s finest tunes to date and something that will work great on all floors.

5. Bedrock – Emerald (BOg remix) [Bedrock]

Everyone in our scene is familiar with Bedrock and Emerald and I think everyone expects something great when a track like that is reworked. BOg managed to make a fantastic rework to a true classic.

6. Dale Middleton – Tarnished [Tarnished]

Dale’s latest productions are great, his sound is more mature than ever and “Tarnished” is the cherry on the cake. Big sounds in this one, loving the chords.

7. Plus Thirty – Dream’s Echo (BP Remix) [238W]

A very nice remix by BP, was instantly caught up by the subtle bass and melodic swings.

8. D-Nox, Victor Ruiz – Arise [Sudbeat]

This works great with the crowd, those stabs are amazing. Sudbeat’s been constantly releasing great music and this is no exception.

9. dubspeeka – Outland 1 [Skeleton]

Something to use early in a set, techno with a pinch of melodic heaven, great!

10. Adam Beyer – The Crossing [Drumcode]

Adam is definitely one of the best in techno out there, and so is his label Drumcode. A club stomper with a few heavy stabs and a great drive – massive!
