Circle Of Life | Episode 41

Serbian producer Circle Of Life looks set to become a name to watch in 2018 following strong releases on Suara and Moonbootique this year.

Tell us about you. How old are you, where are you based and how long have you been producing and Djing?

Circle Of Life: Hello guys, first of all thanks for making this interview with me. I’m 37 years old and I’m based in Belgrade, Serbia. I’m producing music almost 20 years.

Can you remember your first gig and did you rock it?

Circle Of Life: My first gig was long time ago. When I was 17-18 years old boy. Of course I’ve played vinyls and yeah, I’ve rocked the party out 🙂

How difficult was is it to start producing and how long did it take for you to get to the standard you are now?

Circle Of Life: When I’ve started it wasn’t so difficult because I’ve been only playing around with computer and rebirth (my first software). After 7-8 years I’ve released my first tracks.

Talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

Circle Of Life: My latest release is the track Aquarius on Moonbootique. My zodiac sign is Aquarius so that was the inspiration behind it.

What’s been your biggest achievement this year or the release you’re most proud of?

Circle Of Life: I can say it’s my release on Suara, Blue Bird EP. I’m very proud of it.

Talk to us about the music scene like where you’re based plus how often are you playing?

Circle Of Life: I don’t play too much here in Serbia. But we have many big parties with big names every weekend. Also EXIT festival in Novi Sad etc.

Tell us about your DJ setup when you’re performing

Circle Of Life: Usually I play from cd players. Sometimes I like to use computer and midi controller as well. Nothing fancy 🙂 It’s all about music!

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from this industry so far?

Circle Of Life: Good music is timeless.

What new stuff can we expect from you soon

Circle Of Life: Many releases in 2018. Some of them on Moonbootique, Suara, Sprout etc.
