Release Promo Progressive House Hype Chart Week 26

Progressive House Promo Pool and industry hype chart – Release Promo share their weekly must hear tracks.

Geist – Everyone Forgets (Ramiro Puente Remix) [Flow Records]

Pena’s Flow labels are back in a big way, there’s a ton of new music on the way and the latest see’s Ramiro Puente putting his own unique twist on ‘Everyone Forgets’ by Geist. Deep, mystical and a touch trippy it rounds the release out style.

Aiden – Houdje Touwtje feat. Hermione Green (Folie A Deux Remix) [Cinematique]

As part of Aiden’s ‘Arboretum’ EP (which precedes his forthcoming Cinematique album) Folie a deux takes ‘Houdje’, a downtempo electronica track and transforms it into a trippy slice of proggy techno. Supreme vocal work here and an all round killer vibe.

Antti Rasi – Liitäjä (Speaking In Tongues Remix) [Sound Avenue]

Definitely a duo to watch, hailing from Los Angeles Speaking In Tongues take an already great original and shine some of their own magic on it with a techno inspired redux aimed right at the dance floor.

Anton MAKe – Catcher Clouds (Be Morais Remix) [Stellar Fountain]

Be Morais makes his debut on Stellar Fountain this week in fine style. The Brazilian artist and Not Another label boss takes a more techno inspired approach while still keeping a nice melodic flow. The chord changes are highly emotive and the degree of subtlety locked in the delivery is a real key in how powerful the piece is. Outstanding remix from Be Morais.

Arno & Dirisio – Code [Varona Label]

Fresh talent in the form of Arno & Dirisio on Luis Kivreling’s Varona imprint this week. The Argentinean dup impress and the EP’s closer code which hits that groovy, meditative spot. Well Done.

Irene Radice – Find the Future (Phraktal Remix) [ICONYC]

Phrakal return to John Johnson’s ICONYC imprint this week with remix of ‘Find The Future’ by Irene Radice. Very much in the timeless techno vein but with a slight proggy twist and top notch production as always. A standout on the release for us.

Esensides – Brenda [Or Two Strangers]

The lead track from Esensides’ debut on Antrim’s Or Two Strangers imprint strikes a strong emotional chord. It’s intricate framework is crafted to perfection with spacey effects and ethereal melodies converging for the ultimate sonic story.

Andrei Niconoff – Cause & FX (Dofamine Remix) [BC2]

The latest on Balkan Connection’s BC2 division finds Dofamine (Formerly Reflection Soul) crafting an 11 minute remix for the ages. Deep, dreamy and incredibly inviting. Likely the best of his career.

LOM – Saturno [Dopamine Music]

The talented LOM makes his debut on Nikko.Z’s Dopamine Music this week with ‘Saturno’. The Argentine’s distinctive design shines here. Techno inspired with organic qualities, the piece moves through rhythmic motifs and tantalizing arps, wonderfully offset with ghostly vocal stabs.

Alex Nemec & Forniva – Fragile [Soundteller Records]

Mirabilis boss Alex Nemec and frequent studio partner Forniva make their debut on Deersky’s Soundteller Records this week with the deep, melancholic ‘Fragile’. Highly emotional, with a timeless flair and the sturdy framework makes it great for the dance floor. A definite winner.
